Hip Universe
The hip prosthesis is the most mechanically stressed implant in the human body. The neck of the hip stem endures significant fatigue stress, reaching several tons per cm² during certain movements.
Forging, due to its manufacturing process, ensures the fiber alignment of the orthopedic stem within its internal metal structure. This fiber alignment provides much greater fatigue resistance than any other manufacturing technique currently available on the market.

SHOULDER UNIVERSE
Shoulder prostheses are smaller components than hip prostheses. Their manufacturing process is meticulous and requires great attention to detail as well as high precision.
The more intricate the shape of the shoulder prosthesis, the more complex the production process becomes. FORGINAL Medical has been manufacturing shoulder prostheses for several years and has established precise design guidelines for this family of medical implants.

Tibial Universe
Tibial plates are generally manufactured through machining, as they require relatively low mechanical strength. These implantable plates are typically very thin components that may have complex anatomical shapes. Ensuring part uniformity and adherence to tight tolerances is essential.
Cast tibial plates are critical orthopedic devices used in the treatment of tibial fractures.

OTHER UNIVERses
Implantable plates are essential surgical devices used to stabilize fractured or damaged bones in various orthopedic procedures. In addition to cast tibial plates, there is a wide range of other types of plates, each designed to meet specific needs depending on the location and nature of the fracture.
Titanium plates, for example, are widely used due to their lightness, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility, thereby minimizing the risk of rejection by the body. They are commonly used in procedures such as fracture repairs of the humerus, femur, radius, or ulna.
