QHSE Policy
Forginal’s strategy is outlined in a 5-year progress plan. Each year, the quality policy defines areas of focus in line with this progress plan. This policy systematically includes a quality focus, a safety focus, and an environmental focus. The progress made against the quality policy and the progress plan is reviewed twice a year during management review meetings.
Quality
Quality is ensured throughout the production process, notably through a tracking sheet, adapted batch packaging, and permanent labeling. The tracking sheet follows the production batch, starting from the tooling. It describes all production steps, associated parameters, and applicable documents. All controls performed during production are recorded on it. It will be kept for 35 years, along with all records related to the batch concerned.
RANGE / TRACEABILITY / CONTROLS

An internal audit team conducts a complete audit of the quality system each year. Actions resulting from previous audits are systematically reviewed and closed out. In addition to system audits, environmental audits and product audits are carried out to ensure the full effectiveness of the company's processes, particularly on the following points:
- Staff qualification
- Production machine qualification
- Continuous improvement system: All staff are encouraged to submit improvement suggestions; any non-conformity or risk is documented on an anomaly form. These forms are processed in working groups. All this information is capitalized, which helps maintain knowledge of the main points of attention regarding our different parts and tools.
- SPC (Statistical Process Control)
FORGINAL medical is ISO 13485 certified for the forging of parts for the medical market. Third-party audits are conducted annually. These audits are considered sources of progress within the company, and numerous improvements have resulted from them. Our quality system (documentary system, customer and regulatory requirements, traceability, quality assurance plan, records, staff qualifications, etc.) undergoes robustness tests that enable continuous improvement.
FORGINAL medical operates with complete transparency with its customers and is always ready to welcome them for visits or audits. Each year, about ten customers audit us, which helps identify new avenues for improvement.

Through continuous listening to staff, the management of FORGINAL medical commits each year to globally reducing the risks faced by its teams. Employee training is a priority in order to retain teams while increasing their skills. Every new employee goes through a tutoring period. They become familiar with their tasks and any associated risks, accompanied by an experienced colleague in the position. A quarter of the company's workforce are certified first-aiders at work. The safety policy is based on their feedback, as well as that of the Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee (CHSCT).

Environment
Preparation for ISO 14001 Certification
FORGINAL medical has initiated a medium-term process for ISO 14001 certification. Environmental protection measures are already in place:
- Discharge of penetrant testing products connected to a water treatment system using activated carbon.
- Continuous monitoring of wastewater discharge with recording of results and more in-depth annual checks.
- Waste sorting (wood, stainless steel, titanium, etc.).
- We only work with cardboard and pallets as an ecological choice.
- We have rationalized the dimensions of our packaging to minimize them.
- FORGINAL medical has a settling tank to treat rainwater.
- All our purchased products comply with REACH requirements. We impose full compliance with these requirements on our suppliers and check them periodically.
